About Nicola

I am a part-time photographer working primarily in the Hamilton and Greater Toronto Area.  I have had a passion for art since I was a child, and studied fine art and animation in college, then pursuing animation into a full time career.    You may wonder how I ended up involved with photography... my interest was first started when I was learning Photoshop for its application with animation, textures and backgrounds.  Then in 2011 I offered to photograph a friends wedding in Mexico and I instantly fell in love with it all.    Since then I have upgraded my equipment to a professional level and have worked with many different clients in different  locations and settings.  Weddings are still my favourite thing to shoot since it is when people express their truest emotions, and lets be honest - those dresses are a blast to photograph!   But i'm also keen on engagement, event, family, maternity and newborn photography and i'm always looking for new and exciting moments to capture!
